If there is a team with a point to prove in the T20 World Cup 2022, it is India. After winning the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 in England, India is yet to win an ICC cup. While the BCCI has not yet announced the Indian team for the T20 world cup, the probable team includes these players: Rohit Sharma (captain), Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rahul Chahar, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, , Varun Chakravarthy, , , Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, K.L. Rahul, , and Suryakumar Yadav.
Many Indian players are struggling with poor form currently, including Kohli, Sharma, Jadeja, Pant, and Chakravarthy. The fans would like them to start playing well again. That said, it’s highly likely that ace batsman Surkyakumar Yadav will play for India. Yadav is one of the most consistent hitters in the IPL.
With players like him, Pandya, Bumrah, Shami, and Rahul, India seems to be having enough in its arsenal to take on any team in the world. Not to forget that Ashwin has started playing well as an all-rounder. Even with the bat, he performed well for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022. With the ball, he gave nightmares to batters.

On paper, The India squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 is a dream team. It has superb openers in Sharma and Rahul and excellent middle-order batters in Kohli, Pant, and Pandya. Then, it has crafty spinners in Ashwin and Jadeja, who can bat too. It has some of the finest pacers in Bumrah and Shami. But these players will have to click together.
In IPL 2022, Kohli failed to perform in most matches. Indian fans hope that players like him and Sharma will be back in form for the T20 World Cup in Australia.
