The Barbados Royals have announced their full squad for the upcoming Hero CPL season, including some big names. Jamaica Tallawahs CPL 2022 Team

The Jamaica Tallawahs have announced their overseas signings for the 2022 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The Jamaica Tallawahs picked up Trinidadian batter Amir Jangoo and experienced Barbadian seam bowler Raymon Reifer. Left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir will be joining the Tallawahs for the first time, having represented the Barbados Royals last season, claiming 11 wickets at an average of 13.54. The other four overseas players have all had experience with the Tallawahs in the past. Nepalese leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane was with the franchise in 2020, where he took 12 wickets and went at an economy rate of just 5.27 runs an over. The Saint Lucia Kings have announced that Faf du Plessis, who captained the Kings to the Hero CPL final in 2021, will be back this season. He will be joined by Tim David and David Wiese-both key players of the CPL 2021 season. This CPL 2022 season, Scott Kuggeleijn will return who played for the Kings in 2020, where he finished as the tournament’s leading wicket taker that season. Saint Lucia Kings have picked up Ackeem Auguste who captained West Indies at the 2022 Under-19 Cricket World Cup along with Preston McSween and Leroy Lugg. St Kitts & Nevis Patriots CPL 2022 Team

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots have announced their overseas players for the upcoming Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season. Sri Lankan leg-spinner WaninduHasaranga and South African batter Dewald Brevis will join the franchise, while Pakistani off-spinner Qasim Akram will be with the team until Hasaranga's arrival. South African all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius and Afghan leg-spinner Izharulhaq Naveed will also make their first appearances for the Patriots at the CPL. The Patriots have one more overseas spot to fill, which will be announced in the coming weeks. St Kitts & Nevis Patriots re-drafted Joshua da Silva and Jon Russ Jaggesar. The biggest move of the draft saw Shai Hope sign for the Guyana Amazon Warriors where he will join Ronsford Beaton and Veerasammy Permaul. The Guyana Amazon Warriors will be welcoming back Imran Tahir for the fifth consecutive season. Tahir, the record wicket-taker for the franchise with 60 wickets from 43 matches, will be joined by fellow South African wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi. Shamsi has Hero CPL experience with St Kitts & Nevis Patriots from 2015 to 2018 and is the number one ranked bowler in T20 Internationals with 33 wickets at the CPL. The Amazon Warriors batting line-up is bolstered with the addition of South Africans Colin Ingram and Heinrich Klaasen and Ireland international Paul Stirling.
